Submitting to the will of God wars against every fiber of our fleshly being, and without spiritual reinforcements, we will never be able to do it. Christ’s death on the cross was not only a model of complete submission, it was the means by which we could access to power to follow that example. When we pray, we are supernaturally empowered to trust and submit to God’s perfect plan.
